Do reputable online pharmacies exist?

My usual pharmacy no longer carries my medication. Large chain pharmacies nearly doubled the price of that medication in the last few months. Is it possible to find a legit online pharmacy that sells prescription medications for normal prices? I did try using google, but only spam sites came up…

My physician brother uses this one [Canadian Pharmacy Online - Canada Pharmacy - Discount Prescription Drugs - CanadaDrugs.com](http://www.canadadrugs.com/). I’ve now used it several times for difficult to find or expensive prescriptions and it’s been very easy and reputable. It’s better for ongoing prescriptions, though as it takes about 3 weeks to fill the first order.

What about places like Medco and Express Scripts? Don’t know if you need to be part of an insurance plan to utilize them, but they are certainly reputable.

Medco and Express Scripts have merged, and they are only available through a benefits package.

Drugstore.com is reputable and available to anyone. Retail pharmacies like Walgreens, CVS, Target and Walmart also offer on line options.

My pharmacy ins is handled through Medco, although I don’t use their online service.

But watch out for “Canadian” pharmacies.

Costco pharmacy online. 100% reputable, great prices. Not sure but you might not have to be a Member (since you do NOT have to be a Member to use their in-store pharmacies)

I also am a fan of Costco for medications but have not ordered meds from them on-line. I’m sure they do a good job with that as they do with their other costco.com orders. Our insurer has us all use Medco, which does an OK job. Prior to this, insurer had us use PrecisionRx, which merged with another company whose name I can’t recall at the moment. Those companies were also OK.

One caveat, if you do use mail order Rx, give them an address where the place is air-conditioned and someone will be around to receive or pick up the medication. One of the companies would leave the box of meds at my doorstep in the hot sun. Another unsuccessfully tried to deliver it to my college D 3 times & then made her to & pick up the package a considerable distance from her apartment in a dangerous part of town. Have since switched to having them deliver my packages to a relative’s office & then fetch them from him.

I have once ordered from a company called alldaychemist.com but that was many years ago. It’s in India and recently people have complained about their credit cards being used inappropriately after the purchase, so many switched to sending money orders or certified checks instead. Prices are considerably lower than US prices for many medications.
