Do restrictions drop during phase II?

I am trying to finalize my phase I classes, and I am nearly there. However, there is one slight worry I have. I want to take this 2 unit seminar, and it’s over halfway full: [UCB Online Schedule of Classes: Search Results](http://sis.berkeley.edu/OSOC/osoc?p_term=FL&p_ccn=64006) I could potentially drop my math 53 class since the discussion times are flexible enough. However, with the current restrictions in place for the nukeE seminar, it seems like I am pretty much guaranteed a spot (freshman, instructor’s consent). According to the schedule site, there is no more space for sophomores, juniors, or seniors in this seminar. But if these restrictions were to drop during phase II, the class just might fill up before I can schedule it.

So, does anyone know if restrictions will drop for this seminar during phase II? Thanks in advance!

no, it’s a freshman seminar, so only freshman can take it.

you’re in the clear!

actually, if it’s a seminar, you’re probably better off signing up for it phase 1 considering how there’s like at least a good 4 or 5 more CalSo seshes going on, each of which has at least 100+ incoming freshmen.

Like the flying mammal says, seminars usually fill up fast and would usually be phase I choices.

Restrictions on enrollment based on those criteria (class level, prerequisites barring registration, etc.) will NEVER drop based on the Phase of Telebears unless the course specifies otherwise.
