Do some universities offer scholarship for Taekwondo?

<p>So I heard that that some top schools such as Standford, USC, UC Berkeley started to offer scholarships for martial arts. Is this true? I tried searching for applications online but I can’t seem to find any. My friend said she knew someone who got a Taekwondo scholarship from Standford and I want to try for one too. Does anyone know anything about it?</p>

I don’t think Stanford offers a scholarship since they moved their MA program from their PE dept. to club status.

<p>I googled Taekwondo scholarships and the first site showed eight. Remember, a few schools offer them, but a lot of other places offer them, too. What I mean is, for example, scholarships for Taekwondo are offered by the American Taekwondo Association and also by America’s Milk Producers.</p>

<p>Oh yeh I guess when i asked my friend about it again today, she said that person she knew who got one got it around 5 yeas ago so I guess it is different now then before.</p>
