<p>I will have junior status next year and I want to like in a certain residence hall. Can I request to be placed there?</p>
<p>After you are a freshman you are no longer required to live in the dorms so if you stay you absolutely get to request which residence hall/exact room that you want. You typically will sign up in mid-to-late January…the earlier you request your room the better. Also, Seniors get 1st priority, juniors 2nd, sophomores 3rd etc. but most seniors and juniors aren’t living in the dorms so it is not too hard to get in (unless you are requesting a place like Williams Hall, which doesn’t require a meal plan).</p>
