So this is an interesting question I had. I have taken 2 SSAT last year and 2 SSAT this year. I remember how easy those questions were last year which got me a high score. However, I have noticed that overall, this year’s tests are more difficult that last year. Please leave some comments on what you think.
Last year I took the ISEE, this year I took the SSAT…
From a glance I think I did better this year… Esp. in math … Otherwise my scores of last year and this year (in verbal and reading) stayed the same…
Perhaps its was easier for you last year because certain topics were fresh for you… Not sure if there really is a correlation in the scores form last year and this year… I think it is pretty dependent of the individual, their circumstance, and preparation.
If you are currently in 8th grade and took the SSAT last year in 7th, then it would have been the middle level. Could that perhaps be the reason why the test felt easier?
