Do state schools look at your highest score?

<p>I took the ACT back in december and got a 27, and unwisely sent that score to a couple of schools I intend on applying to next year.</p>

<p>I took it again and April and got a 30, and plan to send it to some of the same schools again. Will they look at both scores or the highest one? I really hope they look at the highest…</p>

<p>This is for public schools like UIllinois, UMich, Purdue, etc. I’m sure private schools look at everything.</p>

<p>Ordinarily colleges look at your highest score(s), either by sitting (common at state colleges) or by section (common at privates, called “superscoring” by some here on CC).</p>
