I got 100 hours during summer break after junior year.
I know UC applications are due in November, but my full hours won’t show on my transcript.
Will they still accept the hours I completed during summer break?

UC’s don’t ask for your transcripts until after you graduate. Everything is self-reported -including community service hours. There are slots for courses taken, grades, activities, jobs, community service, etc. on the application.

they will take all the hours you have prior to application time.

^ Yep. You can report anything you’ve done before the app deadline.

@serevicfrode Are you saying UCs require community service? I’ve never heard of such a thing.

@t26e4 I don’t think that’s what he/she meant…Although not required, it sure helps. He/she is just concerned about making sure his/her effort is fully noted.

In my opinion, though, the UC’s seem to favor community service more than private/other colleges -enough to give it its own section in the app, separate from other EC’s.
