Do they only look at academic courses?

I’ve already been accepted, and I’m referring to the final grades that I have to send in.

Now, my school has these non-academic, pass-fail courses that show up on grades (I don’t recall if/how they show up on the transcript, but I believe they do). They don’t affect GPA, and they’re non-academic “courses”.

My question is simply, would McGill care about a fail in such a course on the final transcript? I know that they really only care about the academics, but an F never looks good. Has anyone that went to McGill had similar “courses” coming from high school, perhaps with an F on one of them?

This isn’t a big deal as…I doubt I’d get an F in what I’m talking about, and even if I did I’m sure it could easily be negligible, but I’m just curious if anyone here has an actual answer (to ease paranoia that I’ll somehow get rescinded).

BTW, I’m not talking about academic courses…I know they want those more or less the same.
