Do UCs count retaken classes?

<p>I’m retaking physics 1(i’m in high school) because I got a C in it and didn’t learn anything in the class/teacher…I heard that UCs don’t count retaken classes if the first time was a C or better, but my school says differently?</p>

<p>How would this affect admission?</p>
