Do UCs take in consideration the high school you attended if you are an international student?

When checking my grades, do UC applications reviewers take in consideration the high school that I have attended? And are my chances of being admitted bigger if I have attended one of my country’s most prestigious ( if not the most ) high schools and that is accredited by NEASC, CIS, etc.?

Bump. Sorry

bump…

For a UC, it’s difficult to say, but if one were to look at Ivies, it’s difficult to deny that which HS you go to for US applicants makes a difference since some schools get the reputation as “feeder schools”.

The best way to know if your school has any chance of positive impact on your application would be to know if any past graduates have gotten into the same school in the past. There no guarantee that it will have a positive impact, but if it’s going to, odds are your school would have a past history with the college in question. Otherwise assume it’s neutral.
