Do UK schools look at freshman and sophomore year?

Hi I’m a sophmore in highschool so far this year my grades have not been the best last year my gpa was 3.5 this year it is 2.8. But I did do really well on the PSAT. I really want to go to school in England specifically LSE, ICL, KCL. Next year I will be takin 4 AP classes and I plan on getin at least a 3.5 GPA. Do British schools look at freshman and sophomore year or do they focus on Junior and Senior year and the AP grades and your SAT scores.
Thankyou.

UK schools don’t look at GPA at all. Just your test scores (i.e. AP, IB, SAT, and program-specific tests such as BMAT, UKCAT, LNAT, etc.)

Note that they are most interested in (and many courses require specific) APs that relate to the subject you are applying to study. So, if you are applying for English, Lit & Lang will be key, plus another writing-based humanity (eg, history). If you are applying to study Economics, know that Calculus will matter more than Micro + Macro (which btw, you need both of to = 1 AP).

Typically you need 3 relevant (but non-duplicated) APs / SATIIs to get in, but LSE is very tough- their offers are often harder than Oxford or Cambridge.
