Do Universities Prefer the SAT over the ACT more?

<p>My father said that universities weigh the SAT more than the ACT as far as admissions tests go is this true?</p>

<p>However, in the post #21 of that thread, please note that some of the percentages may have changed. Also, the new numbers for Stanford are incorrect (92% of admitted students submit the SAT, 5% submit the ACT) since the percentages should sum to something greater than 100. I believe that that is merely a typographical error by the College Board, however (92/35 seems more realistic in comparison to previous statistics).</p>
