Do Washington CC Credits Transfer to California CCs?

I am currently attending a Washington CC and is deciding to move to a CCC this fall, however a lot of my friends said that I won’t get credits for my lessons and told me to stay in Washington. Has anyone of you experienced the same thing? What did you do?

The receiving school will make its own determination about what subject credit and placement it will give for transferred courses.
