Do we stay overnight during Orientation?

I’m not quite understanding how this works. We check in at Sproul Hall, then what? are we going to be spending the entire 3 days in a rez hall or something? thx in advance

two nights, unless you’re paying the $50 for extra nights. We’ll be staying in Rieber Vista.

should we be bringing like toothbrushes, lotta clothes, whatever?

by the way, what do most orientation people do at NIGHT and after the orientation sessions each day?

i take it you should bring all your toiletries and such unless you want to have bad hygiene

Here’s the list that they gave us, for things to bring:

There is also the schedule for orientation:

I’m guessing people socialize with their 3 day roommate and new friends? Or maybe they walk around campus… you can probably do anything you want on campus. As for me, I’m bringing my badminton gear because I love badminton and they have open gyms on Tuesday nights. :D

Badminton is awesome. I challenge you, sofakingwangsta. :)

Is it a okay if we’re a bit late?

I’ll arive @ LAX around 7:30 AM, and even though the schedule says 8:45, I’m pretty sure that 8:00 is the official check-in time, right?

Anyone up for tennis??? :)

haha ok dragon17, bring it on! Are you going to the first orientation?

I’m sure that anytime before 9:00am would be alright, especially with your situation. However, I would strongly suggest taking a taxi from LAX since that is the quickest form of transportation.

I love tennis (big tennis & badminton).

Save your energy for the Orientation itself…

anyone know how to play lacrosse? i have a little two stick set that i can bring. I personally don’t know how to play, but i want to… so ive pretty much been BS’ing my way through it with my friends who also dont know how to play, lol.

I accept, Flopsy. Do you know if I can play during the open gym on Tuesday night? Because my orientation’s monday-wed (jul 10-12)

talk with new friends. some people might engage in some private activities though ;)

ahh come on that doesnt happen at UCLA. maybe at SDSU.

UCSB too. :P

what’s UCSB? university of casual sex and beer? jk

For the record, I never challenged anyone to badminton in this thread.

ill play tennis and badminton and ping pong with anyone (if ucla has ping pong tables anywhere)

UCSB - University of **** Sucking Blondes

do we do a lot of walking all 3 days? or only the third day?
