Do you agree with the concept of "pride"?

Find a hardcore computer gamer (like the ones who sleep in front of PC, walk with their own keyboard and mouse nearly everywhere they go, and so on). Then tell him that his 59th/or w/e level in whatever game he plays is not an achievement and does not make him proud. Then run. :D

As I said before, to you some things are much more important than others – maybe you would think that winning an Olympic gold medal increases one’s self-worth, but achievement in video games do not. It depends on an individual, really. Question is why do you need that self-worth? It’s clearly not connected to ‘rising up against tyrant’ – all you need to realize for that is that you are a human being with basic human rights (that kind of ‘self-worth’). Do you need it to boost your ego? Like “wow I am so cool I just finished the race first!”

a well-accomplished man should not be entitled to more pride than a person who has not accomplished as much
every is No.1 i think ,if he does his best and done sth ,though what he has finished maybe not so good compare with others’,then we should not compare him with others ,we should encourage him, then he will continue to do sth,or else he will be disppiniont about himself ,which does no good to anybody

No one deserves anything. The universe is cold and uncaring.

It’s up to the individual to determine value.
