<p>The way i see it is that either every religion is right or none is. The fact that there are so many different religions and cults vouching for their own “God” preaching the same thing that the chance of any 1 of them being right is almost like winning the lotto really.</p>
<p>Even within Christianity alone the denominations are almost completely different religions. My dad’s friend from college had gotten burnt during a chemical explosion at school and because of his religious affiliation (Jehovah’s Witness) he refused to accept blood and consequently died. I am TIRED of people of ignorant brainwashed religious “mainstreamists” that cannot think for themselves…</p>
<p>Also, religious affiliation is based primarily on parental influence and geography ie. Your RA is almost predetermined wrt. where you were born/grew up. With that said, how is it that, with respect to Christianity, “God” will only let Christians enter “Heaven”? What happened to those that dont know of “Jesus” existence etc.</p>
<p>If you trace the history of the Bible you will see that it encompasses excerpts from a library full of books and thus OBVIOUSLY things were left out, deliberately or unintentionally.</p>
<p>To think that the entire 6 billion human population came literally from Adam and Eve is just ludicrous.</p>
<p>At the same time, it is only natural to want to believe in something bigger than ourselves. I personally find solace in thinking that loved ones go to “Heaven”, however hypocritical that may be…</p>
