I like the Subway breakfast sandwiches. A toasted English muffin with egg, spinach, and tomato is a lovely thing.

Inspired by this thread, some of us are planning to meet at Walter’s on May 5 at 11 am. See fauxmaven’s thread titled, “Come one! Come all!”

The good thing is that many chain restaurants put their nutritional information on the web, so you can scope out what to order before you go.

I rarely eat burgers and pizza. But I love Lebanese fast food, simply delicious.

Due to my strict diet (no gluten, tomatos, spicey, or greasy foods), I have not had it in over a year. I will say I feel much better and i can make the foods if i should want them

Sure–I like just about any food I don’t have to cook–BK Whoppers, McDonald’s fries, Taco Bell, Wendy’s, KFC, Pizza etc.–and other local takeouts. . .we’ll bring something home about once or twice a week. I miss Braum’s (s. central states chain not in my city) burgers and cherry limeade. (No need to count calories here.)

This sounds interesting…what does Lebanese fast food consist of?

I love fast food gyros which are everywhere in my area, but crave falafels because they seem to be nonexistent here.

Well ,I guess I won’t be trying those hot dogs . Maybe a black & white shake .

Gyros are pretty good nutritionally if you look at carbs/fat/protein. We get them from time to time from a local Greek pizza place. I picked up two extra large cheese on Saturday night (end of Passover). That’s probably the first pizza that I’ve bought in a year.

Lebanese is fast in the sense that they can get it to you fairly quickly but a lot of the stuff is prepared beforehand and that preparation can be time-consuming.

Chipotle is my new favorite fast-food type place. I think if you are not too concerned about sodium (e.g., don’t have high blood pressure) and select wisely, even McDonalds can be not too unhealthy.

Not a big fan of any traditional FF place with the exception of the Jack in the Box 2 for .99 tacos. I don’t want to know what type of ‘meat’ one gets for this price but for some reason, I find these things just delicious.

Other than this, we make the occasional stop at an In-n-Out Burger when we are on the road.
