I’m kind of getting scared that the pesticides are going to cause health problems…

omg I never know the difference! :O

Organic.
Okay, you’re only going to hurt if you consume pesticides purposefully or intentionally. The key here is * concentration * of said harmful substance(s).
For example, there are trace amounts of uranium everywhere (found mostly in the soil). This is why enriched uranium must be created…because only concentrated amounts become radioactive.
I had the same problem when I found out that there were harmful chemicals in my make-up. I said, “I’m not using that! I’ll find some organic products.” Well, the hunt for organic cosmetics was not fruitful and, furthermore, my search lost steam when my dad looked at me sideways and told me what I’m telling you.

Psh, I’ve probably been eating them all the time and I’m still fine. :P

Yeah. I’m kind of a bad-a

Wash the apples?

Really do you think that that VERY thin layer of skin is going to keep out pesticides? And there are much worse things in your food than pesticides :/

I never eat the peel of apples. Even if it’s organic

I agree that the key is the concentration of the pesticide. Washing all produce before you eat it is prudent, but you run a far greater risk to your health by getting into your car every day.

Tapeworms and ringworms are more dangerous, which is what the pesticides are preventing. Plus, those frozen foods such as frozen nuggets are far more unhealthy.

I always wash them before I eat and yeah I eat the peels… I’m not too picky about food. I just find it prissy when people cut the peels off apples, remove the crust from bread

I’ve never understood the peeling the crust off the bread thing.

Yeah, if you eat the whole grain bread that’s where all the nice oats and seeds are… haha.

…An apple isn’t an apple without the skin. ;o

He^ speaks truth.

I don’t like the skin of certain apples, like Red Delicious, but I’m probs too lazy to cut it off. Pesticides are definitely within the apple. Washing more takes care of external dirt than chemicals.

the crust of bread is too hard and its not soft. It doesnt feel good

/obvious

The sentence is too redundant and its not concise.

Also, crust from fresh bread = delicious.

^Ohgodyes.

Answer to OP’s question: No

anything in fresh bread is delicious, unless it is banana bread
