Do you get a multiplier for your AP course marks?

Hey,

For those currently taking/have taken AP courses at your school, do you get a multiplier for your report card marks? For example, if you get 80% on a test in an AP course, you get a 1.1 multiplier so it becomes 88%. (A 90% would become a 99% …and so on)

Thanks

no we don’t have any kind of weighted grades at my school.

We do not weight at our school but the teachers gives everyone an extra 5% at the semester’s start

we get a 1.1 multiplier for AP, and 1.05 for Pre-AP, which is very nice. the top 10% of our class has a GPA over 100.

We get a 1.06 for A.P. classes. So a 90 would really equal an 95.4.

My high school gives AP classes a multiplier of 1.2 and Pre-AP multipier of 1.1

We get a 5.0 for AP classes if we get a 2+ on the exam.

My school gives a multiplier of 1.04 for Honors and 1.08 for AP classes.

We get a 1.25 multiplier (6 over 4).

We get 5 points. Like if u had an 88 in the class you get a 93. You get these points just for taking the class. In honors classes you get 3 points, so a 90 is a 93

AP classes are 5.0 on the 4.0 scale and a few (Physics, Chem Lecture, BC) are 85=A

We get a 1.20 multiplier for AP courses and a 1.10 multiplier for Pre-AP courses.

We have a 1.1 weight for honors classes, and a 1.125 for AP/IB without test and a 1.135 with the test. The weighted grades don’t appear on report cards, only for weighted GPA/Rank.

My school averages all grades together and adds 15 points per AP class. So an 85 would be a 100 on my GPA.
