Do you get a ZERO if you're absent?

If you’re absent on AP test day and don’t make it up, do you get a zero? Or do they automatically cancel it? Because I signed up for a test and decided there’s no point (no credit) in taking it, and I don’t want it on my record.

I would check your school policy. Some schools require students to sit for the AP exam for successful completion of the course. Having said that, I don’t understand why you would take an AP class to begin with if there’s no point in taking the AP exam.

Maybe because he is a senior won’t get credit for the exam at the college he enrolled at…? If so, then it doesn’t really matter that it shows up on your record. It would only matter if your high school requires you to take the AP exam in order to pass the class.

Even though you get a zero, you can still cancel it after the exam (by June 15). So that’s no big problem.
