do you get an extra pt. for precollege classes

i took trigonometry at a community college and got a B. My couselor told me that SINCE i took it at a “college”, it’s really an A because I will get an extra point.

the admissions office at sdsu told me that my B is calculated as just a B
BUT the astronomy class that i took at the university of hawaii which i got a B+ in got an extra point. so it was calculated as an A.

shouldn’t my B in trig only get an extra point like astronomy?

the admissions lady said something about my astro grade being a B “PLUS” and that plus means something…i don’t know, i didn’t really hear her…

I don’t think it matters what we think - or you. Bottom line is that the college will calculate it the way they want to (and it might vary from school to school). So, really, it doesn’t make any difference.
