Do you guys (men) buy your own clothes?

Just curious because my mother still buys mine

lol, my Mom sometimes bought me 2

I buy my own stuff, I have since my Junior year of high school.

I have been buying for myself for quite a while

lol I’m 22 and my mom still buys for me lmao

Why would i spend money on clothes? Haha.

Occasionally my mom.buys me something or i ask for a pair of shorts or something.

But, its not like i have an expensive “style”. I’m not one of those d bags wearing holiister and american eagle all day. Basketball shorts and t shirt. As it gets colder that morphs to jeans and long sleeve. Then a hoodie.

Plus you get free shirts in college. That works fir me.

Oh, I bought a “Shoelace 16” t shirt and an IM team jersey last year :)

I buy all my own stuff including clothes.

Yes and no.

I pick my clothes
I use my parents money

My parents paid for my clothes until I got a job, but I didn’t buy anything very often and I always went with my own friends to get them.

I’m 19 and buy my own clothes.

Secret to buying nice clothes for cheap? Ebay

No thread title with the word “Men” in it should be about having your mother buy clothes for you (especially if you’re over 18)

I buy my own clothes, though I’ll occasionally be given some as gifts.

Buy my own and sometimes my parents give me money to buy some. Either way I always pick them out. Have been for like 4 years now.

Yeah you’re not a man if you’re not paying for your clothes and/or picking them out.

Being fashionable isn’t that hard, or expensive. I pretty much wear exclusively Ralph Lauren or American Eagle and most of my tees are only $10. Just pick out a color, match with darker/lighter colored shorts, go get laid. Win.

me 2

yup

yup

gag

I agree with crazyday. Its really not that hard to look good. Its not that expensive either. Hollister, Aeropostale, American Eagle, etc. Places like this are a big help if you wanna save money and still look good. Just don’t shope there all the time and just wear there clothes. You need some variety.

Only clothes I pay for myself (I dunno how me and my mom worked out this system) is if I buy stuff on eBay, like the few jimi hendrix and pink floyd shirts I have. Other than that I don’t shop much. I buy a new pair of jeans like once or twice a year and my mom takes care of that. My 19th birthday was a week ago and I used that as an opportunity to get like a half dozen ralph lauren shirts and a couple under armor ones. When you shop as little as I do its easy to keep the parents paying for it, I guess (especially since I’m a full time student, lol). Most guys I know who have jobs though pay for it themselves, and those who dont, dont. That’s the pretty standard rule of thumb.

I pick and my parents bankroll me sometimes.

Haha yea I buy my own clothes, actually I’m thinking about buying a nice coat or jacket off of ebay. Does anyone have any experience with buying nice clothes on ebay?
