I am applying for 7-year medical programs and I know there is an option to apply for regular college admission as well. I was wondering if it’s mandatory? Can you just apply to the program and not the college for a regular degree?
Usually you have a choice. What does the website say?
I am applying to Brown’s 8-year medical program, and all it says is that if you apply to early decision for the 8-year medical program and get in the regular college, you still have to to attend the regular college if you don’t get into the program (it’s nonbinding no matter what for the college).
If you want clarification, I’d call Brown. This is a very school and program specific question.
