Do you have to do any science projects in stanford?

I hope to be studying pre-med at stanford, but I just want to know that do you students have to do science projects at stanford?

What do you mean by “project”? If you’re going to be pre-med anywhere, you will have to take lots of lab science courses, so I think the answer is yes, and this will be the case no matter where you go.

The kind of projects where you get a poster board at Wal-Mart, do a little experiment on eggs and osmosis, have your parents come and watch, and then everyone gets a ribbon?

No.

lots of undergrads participate in research, but it’s certainly not required except for a few majors that require some sort of “capstone project.” several classes have project components (the CS and engineering departments) where you have to work in groups over the quarter rather than do problem sets, but they’re quite rewarding.
