Do You Know any Soc Majors?

<p>I contacted the soc undergraduate advisor, but she hasn’t responded yet - it’s been about a week, so she might be on vacation… Anyhow, I’m hoping you can help me.</p>

<p>According to soc.ucla.edu, the major has 15 upper division courses, but on cis.ucla.edu/studyarea, they list the major as having 16 upper division courses - they included a methods course from Soc 113 or Stats 112 - which website is correct? And lastly, on soc.ucla.edu, it states that the writing course can be taken as Pass or No Pass, but on cis.ucla.edu/studyarea, the class must be taken for a letter grade - which of these is correct?</p>

<p>i know soc majors but we don’t talk about curriculum requisites generally. </p>

<p>i would generally trust the department website over anything else, but there might be new requirements which haven’t been updated.</p>

<p>Hmm, the DPR lists 16 upper division courses…while the soc department lists only 15 upper division classes…Which one’s correct!?</p>
