do you know anyone who got baseball s'ship to UVA?

As NW said merit is very rare at UVa, and for the most part consists of an exceptionally competitive scholarship awarded not by UVa, but by the Jefferson Foundation associated with the alumni foundation. Roughly 30 students are awarded this scholarship. If you are instate for Va a 3.73, unless that is at the very top of your class, is not going to be competitive for this.

You may want to head to the Athletic Recruits Forum for more help and information. There are people there who are exceptionally knowledgeable in all aspects of admissions and athletic recruitment. I’m sure they will be more then happy to help you. Best of luck to your son.
