Do you know if BU or NEU have programs where you can take classes at other colleges?

That’s basically the question. Specifically, though, I’m wondering if Boston University is in any way affiliated with Northeastern University in a way that someone going to one university could take classes at the other (I heard NEU has that but I’m not sure if BU is included in the list of colleges.)

I have another question, if you wish to answer it. I am battling between the two colleges listed above as a declared engineering major. For every other aspect, BU attracts me a lot more, but… I heard Northeastern’s engineering is ranked higher and they have a Co-op program. They say that college is what you make of it. (BU would end up costing me only 5 thousand more - I got a good scholarship from each.) Do you think it’s possible to get a good engineering education in BU if I try and work to my potential, as good as NEU’s possibly, or does NEU’s Co-op settle that issue in NEU’s favor?

[Boston University - Office of the University Registrar - Registration and Classes - Cross Registration](http://www.bu.edu/reg/registration/crossreg.html)
Cross-registration is a formal agreement between Boston University and several local colleges and universities whereby BU students can attend courses at other institutions, and students from other institutions can attend courses at BU. The primary schools in the cross-registration consortium are Boston College, Brandeis University, Tufts University, and Hebrew College.

Nope…doesn’t look like they have a cross registration agreement.

Thanks!

(If anyone has an opinion regarding my second question, I would still appreciate it.)
