So, I got on the fast track at my school in like middle school, so I have only ever taken honors or AP courses in high school. As a result my GPA is about 3.95 UW I think (or maybe a little lower as a result of this years classes)

I am screwed from Brown (or Columbia, or Cornell. But mostly Brown). My school is pretty well known, and I do a good amount of stuff outside of school, but like everyone on CC who have gotten into these schools it seems are 4.0 students or better.

You should definitely do some research into the admissions process at Brown. It’s holistic, meaning that while GPA IS important, they place more weight on academic rigor (which you are golden in) and focused passion. They’re very interested in who the applicant is, as opposed to just looking at numbers in the way some other schools do.
Certainly, not all of us have 4.0s. It’s pretty widely accepted that CC members don’t represent the ‘average’ applicant, but rather some of the more impressive ones - I’ve stopped reading chance threads because they terrify me! A 3.95 is great even without all Honors/APs, so as long as you have a personality and haven’t just spent your life with your nose in a textbook, you’ll have as much of a chance as anyone. :)

All the Ivies accept students with GPAs below 4.0. It depends on your HS, the classes you take and lots of other variables.
