do you need a life science before transfer for electrical engineering (UCLA)?

I could squeeze a life science into my schedule but want to know if I absolutely need to before transfer. I know I have to take it eventually but can i take it at UCLA if/after I transfer there? I am an electrical engineering major by the way.

EE transfer here. No need for a life science class for UCLA EE, but if you can get it out of the way during the summer, by all means, do so. If taking it this spring is only going to take time from bigger classes (math, physics, chem), then I suggest postponing it until summer since it’s not an actual requirement. UCLA HSSEAS doesn’t recognize IGETC anyway.
