Do you need Extracurriculars and Volunteer Work for aa CCC-UC transfer?

<p>Because I have 0 ECs and no volunteer work. </p>

<p>As a Poli Sci major with a GPA that’s > or = to a 3.6, how much will the no ECs/Volunteer work effect me?</p>

<p>for ucsd probably not at all since your gpa allows you to tag.
for ucla/berk i think it might. haha and thats as far as i can tell you without making all kinds of assumptions.</p>

<p>It’s always best to be great in every category. If you’re hoping to attend UCLA, TAP should be prioritized over ECs. You should have ECs, even though they’re less important for transfers than for freshmen.</p>

<p>I go to Chabot College and it doesn’t participate in the TAP program. I guess I could join the new Poli Sci club that opened up on campus…</p>

<p>You can get into schools without having any EC’s, but of course depending on the school/major etc EC’s are important to have.</p>
