Do you need SAT II if you have A Levels

Simple enough question. :p

Would I need to do SAT II in physics if I already had an A Level in it?

It depends on the schools, but you will still need SAT II for most schools. A levels usually are considered like APs.

You will need all the testing they would ask from any other international students (most often including SAT IIs). Your A levels would simply be proofs that you graduated from high school. I think you could even have Cs in all your A levels; as it only comes out in August, they wouldn’t really care (we could start a debate here about colleges rescinding applications but I think it’s generally true). A levels or other international qualifications aren’t worth too much for US colleges.

The short answer is yes you will still need to write SAT2.But if you did Alevels then SAT2 will be so easy because its basically As stuff with just a little of the easier A2 stuff-with the exception of the bio test which has a lot of fluff that is not in most A level syllabi.

I gave my O’levels in May’10 and took the SAT 2 exam this November. I am not entirely sure if you HAVE to do SAT 2, but even if you don’t, there’s no harm in trying. It is basically AS stuffs, so you won’t have much problem with it anyways. I gave mine without completing AS
