Do you need to fill CSS if you know there is no way to get any aid?

Family income too high for any aid, rain several Net price analysis, all came back full price, do I still need to file css

We never did them and that includes some 20+ schools across three admissions cycles. Only once did a school request FAFSA and that was because we asked them to match a peer school’s scholarship package. I think they wanted to confirm we didn’t qualify for need based aid before pitching in additional funds. If you’re concerned you can email the AO and confirm it’s not needed.

No - only if you want to apply for need aid - which you can do if you want but don’t need to.

I was full pay but did and yes it was a time and money waste but u never know.

You do what’s best for you which sounds like not doing. No issue

No, you don’t need to. I did it because I figured it doesn’t hurt, but we don’t expect anything.

I agree with everyone above. We never filed CSS or FAFSA. You can still get merit aid at the vast majority of schools that offer merit, without filing these forms.

If you know you’re not going to get any need based aid there is no reason to spend the time and effort on the CSS.

Chump change in regards to what you’re going to spend. The time, to me, is the bigger issue.
