Do you need to take APUSH before APUSG?

Is it necessary to take AP US History before taking AP US Government? And then is it necessary to take AP US Government before taking AP Comparative Government?

No, it’s not necessary at all.

I took them concurrently, and it ended up helping me a lot of test day. I was able to answer one of the questions on the US History test thanks to knowledge I had acquired in US Government and vice versa.

this is how i did it:

sophomore - comparative govt
junior - US history
senior - US govt

I did the same as akitaababy, taking APUSH with APUSG. I thought it helps, especially since around exam time, APUSH is trying to rush through the Reagan and Bush years to get to present times while APUSG covers a lot of the present state of the government. Some of the APUSG stuff also helped with the basic structure of government questions on the APUSH test (although there were like 3…).
