"Do you plan to participate in college?"

<p>I am having trouble deciding whether or not to check this off for some activities. Please weigh in?:</p>

<li><p>Sports - I really enjoy my spot, and would love to participate on the Varsity team, but I can only hope to do so at the D3 schools that I am applying to. Should I still check it off for all schools?</p></li>
<li><p>Youth group - I don’t plan to specifically stay in youth group since it ends after 12th grade, but I do plan on pursuing social-religious activities at the university</p></li>
<li><p>National Honor Society - there’s no direct equivalent to NHS in college, but i do plan to pursue community-service events.</p></li>
</ol>

<p>I would check yes if you are planning to participate in closely similar activities. So, I would suggest checking yes for the sport and the youth group, but probably not for NHS. (As to the sport, even if you can’t get on the varsity team, maybe you will be able to participate in a club sport.)</p>

<p>Just so you know, there are National Honor Societies in college–Phi Eta Sigma is one example.</p>
