Do you read Tucker Max?

Just curious how many on here have read his web site? Did you read his best seller, I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell?

a) yes.
b) yes.

unfortunately, i’m a punkass teenager. i doubt that many mature parents would have heard of or like his stories…

We are parents of college students. ;)

My son aspires to BE Tucker Max. Same prep school. Same advisor. Has met him several times. Mentioned him a college app essay for a highly selective school (got in). You have to hand it to Tucker- he did not follow the normal publishing channels, makes a ton of money off of his website and is somewhat of a cult hero. I find him disgusting and juvenile, but I’m just a parent.

I must admit I immediately thought of you when my college aged kids showed me this web site MOWC! The web site is…interesting.

Have read him before. He’s all right. I prefer Maddox - another male-centric website, except instead of stories about how drunk he gets and how many slutty girls he beds, Maddox’s site is largely a collection of (very entertaining and eloquent) rants. He’s also had a book published, though I’m not sure it’s done as well as Tucker Max’s.

I know more than I ever thought I would about Tucker, and he is absolutely brilliant. He graduated from Duke law school, but wasn’t particularly suited to the practice of law. He doesn’t seem to be featured on the front page of the Chicago Alumni magazine (his undergrad school) either. He made quite a name for himself at Chicago with his musings on how unattractive all the girls were. Lovely…
