hokegoalie you’d hate living where i live and going to my school. lots of guys wear popped collars and girls like it, actually.

Agreed, but it’s kinda hot. I dig short chicks…

And GDF, it was the same deal at my school. There was a fair amount of guys who did it and some of the girls dug it. I blame a lot of it on the fact we had to wear uniforms/polos.

Excuse me sir, I believe your collar was pushed up by the wind.

^ lol.

Actually, at our school, a significant amount of people do it. But the overwhelming majority of the population thinks it’s ridiculous.

we have to wear polos/uniforms as well. Catholic school.

Yup. Damn catholic schools. Full of rich kids who dress and act like toolbags.

so true. only i’m not rich and i’m not Catholic either. it’s just better than my city’s public school. the teachers are good, i’ll give 'em that.

Haha me.duh, point WELL taken. :D

Yea, I can’t complain about the school I attended compared to the other 5 public schools in the city. However, the popped collar attitude sickens me.

well i dress pretty preppy but i dont think i act it…i might though. my taste in music is rock/emo/indie-ish.

Emo child!!! Now I understand why you pop your collar. Are you trying to hide cutting scars?

Ugh…preps or emos. I can’t decide who I like less.

No! lol. i’m not emo, either. just like the music. haha. i’m too much of a baby to cut myself…i hate blood.

a popped collar is pretty rare at my school

does anybody else think that preps and emos are similar in many ways? haha, ok maybe not that much, but both dress in ridiculous manners at times and i know a lot of preps that listen to emo music b/c its “cool” or something. they think they’re more interesting preps just b/c they listen to “deep” music. haha. ok i’m making no sense but i’ll just say i hate labels. but i hate people that purposely act or label themself in a certain way even more.

We wore polos at our catholic school. Certainly poppable. At least it was sorta easy to sort the kids who you wanted to beat up. The teachers never had the guts to write us up for anything.

Yeah…no emo child will ever admit to being one. It’s okay. Your secret is safe with me.

And preps are so much worse than emos. They’re condescending, slightly on the stupid side, and very, very, very, very dull. At least emo kids are entertaining.
:)

gu not…im talking about popping collars on polo shirts, so we wouldnt be wearing ties. oxford shirts are also part of our dress code too, though.

emo kids are entertaining? um…sure.

Sometimes it looks ok but on most people no.
