Do you support the POPPED collar?

Leah… a little faux weight can honestly be good for the average individual who rolls with the popped collar croud. Sometimes I wanna throw food at people and hope their pores soak it in as a last ditch effort to sustain enough body mass to avoid flying away with the next incoming breeze

Sometimes.

I have no idea how the state of one’s collar has anything to do with one’s level of arrogance, etc. Some people looked better with popped collars. Some look better without it.

I personally think people who comb their hair to the left are ridiculously huge jerks who don’t deserve to live.

Yea, we had that at our school too. Pink was supossed to be a “pimp” color.

…I’ll pimp you.

So popping collars has nothing to do with one’s level of arrogance, but hairstyles do? lol

There’s a loud wooshing sound as sarcasm flies over your head.

You put sarcasm right after a direct statement, over the internet, with no clues that it was sarcasm.

OMG I GOT OWNED!

(^notice I did the same thing, but I exaggerated it, so it makes sense)

A popped collars looks good if you have a long neck.

“Ever since I could remember I been poppin mah collar
poppin poppin mah collar, poppin poppin mah collar
Ever since I could remember
I been working these hoes and they betta put mah
money in my hand.” - 36 mafia

and yes, i do support popped collars.

Here in cali, not many people pop their collars, but i just spent 6 months in DC and i see it quite often. Only the gay and preps do it. I dont’ want to label people or anything, but the only guys i can recall popping their collars were gay. I see girls do it too, but only the preppy ones. I even had a friend who wasn’t preppy at all but he was gay so he’d do it. Anyways, i think it looks ok on some people but i personally wouldn’t do it. And no it doesn’t mean your a ■■■■■■■■■ but sometimes it does lol.

i don’t mean to sound dumb or anything, but what exactly does a popped collar look like?

^ the best way to describle it is when you have say a Polo. normally the collar sits on top of the shirt/polo. but if you lift it up so there is no crease it becomes POPPED. I hope that made sense.

heres a picture on the polo site which may help, her collar is popped.

It’s true that people shouldn’t judge others for how they look or dress, but I think this is a totally different. People who pop their collars are basically trying to make a statement that they are better than everyone else. They want to go against the generally accepted way to wear a collar, because they think they’re too cool to just fit in. Yet, in doing so, they are actually the ULTIMATE tools.

If a person just wears Abercrombie, then that doesn’t make them a ■■■■■■■■■. Some people like Abercrombie sincerely for it’s quality and style, not the name. Popping collars is different, since it looks completely ridiculous.

And most people commenting have witnessed a high correlation between popping collars and level of douchebaggery. So we aren’t just making it up. You can’t have dozens of people around the US having the same observations without it being somewhat true.

A lot of people at my school who wear Ralph Lauren, Lacoste and preppy polos tend to pop their collars. I have never popped my collars nor seen anything of this style until I came to my school. I wouldn’t do it mainly because I don’t like the look of them.

I don’t pop my collar. I think it looks weird. I wear Ralph Lauren and J. Crew and stuff and I’ve been called a prep (the real kind, not the cheerleader abercrombie and fitch wearing kind), but I still don’t pop my collar.

ew popping collar is DISGUSTING. once i had a crush on this guy, and oneday he came with his PINK POLO SHIRT WITH THE COLLARS POPPED, and hey, crush is gone.

Jonathon K you have popped the collar in past or so you said! Don’t be ashamed! I used to like Green Day! haha.

But I’d say that popping collars is a lot worse than being emo. EMO CHILD.

haha yeah… I used to. Just once in a while, though.

Now I wear my collar the way it’s supposed to be - NOT POPPED. :)

I’d say almost nothing is worth than being emo, except maybe gothic. :)

HAPPY FACES…

Did that make all the emo’s have a heart attack?

lol that was stupid but whatever
