I´m a rising senior in a highschool in north carolina. I have moved to US on the middle of my sophmore year. My current GPA is 4.3 and my ACT score is 29. I have been playing soccer on my freshman year and my sophmore year. Won some regional science fairs member of national honors society and around 200 volunteer hours. Have not taken any APs yet but will take 2-4 next year. More about my self I came from Iran from highly selective high school and based on what I can see I can write good essays from my past. Holding a part time job for a year. I´m trying to get into decent school such as UNC chapel hill. Do I have any chances? My other question is that since we had moved to US before my junior year and I didn´t know that much about AP classes and activities but I´m trying to get into decent universities, do I have any chance to take care of everything on the last year?
Your high school guidance counselor will have a better sense than us whether students with your grades and test scores and activities are accepted to Chapel Hill.
