Hi all,
I am a second year Biology major attending Orange Coast College. My target school is UCLA however my gpa isn’t all that competitive. After my fall grades update, my gpa will be 3.73 with all major reqs done. I am going to take Organic Chemistry B in the spring although I’m not going to take any of physics sequence. The purpose of this discussion is how starting college at 16 will affect my admission. I wrote about it in the “what sets you apart” question on the uc app and feel I wrote a pretty solid essay. Do you think it will truly surprise the reader and get me into UCLA even though my gpa isn’t SUPER competitive. Any insight is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
