Well, my elementary and middle school was for gifted children with IQ over 130…should I write it in my resume, or is the bragging too obvious?
Too obvious. Your IQ will show in your grades, test scores, and other achievements.
Shows desperation
Thank you, guys, I did not want to put it there, I just thought… (because I saw a resume of my friend who listed competitions he won 7 years ago O.o…)

By the way, what is the point of Resume if most of the content is already mentioned in the activities folder of the CommonApp?
There isn’t a point, really – several schools say only to attach a resume if it says something NEW about you, which most don’t.
Ultimately, colleges don’t want to know what your IQ is. I am willing to bet if you had a kid with an IQ of 100 but worked super hard all through high school he would get into some great schools. On the other hand, (not implying that this is you) if you have a kid with an IQ of 150 who did nothing at all in high school but cruise along, he probably wouldn’t get in. My point is, colleges care less about what your intelligence may be… they care much more about what you do with your intelligence. As long as you have good grades and good extracurriculars, there’s no need to tell colleges your IQ, they should already know that you are intelligent simply by looking at your resume.
All the luck to you in your college applications!
Inherent IQ means nothing w/o proven performance & achievement.
Colleges want to hear about elementary/middle school ONLY if your parents made a 20 million dollar donation to the elementary/middle school.
I have an IQ of 156, yet my ACT and GPA don’t really show it. But then again I literally did almost no homework at home, no studying, and I stayed up all night the day before the ACT on cough syrup and melatonin.
Which school?
Nope. Why would you go back to elementary???
I rest my case.
I would honestly not mention it in your college application. IQ is honestly really subjective; additionally, how would you reliable report it. I think mentioning it may seem like you are searching for something special (yet this is surely not it).
