Do you use your mini-food processor?

I’ve never tried using the mini or regular food processor to chop onions. How do you cut the onions before processing? Don’t they get all wet and mushy?

Cut the onion into quarters (or whatever size chunks fit into the mini). Pulse.

Actually, I have a Pampered Chef hand chopper that is terrific for onions.

yes. mine is nearly 40 years old! it was a re-gifted present from my grandmother. I have no desire for a full size one. Used for making pesto, pie crust dough, shredding carrots.

. Does it reverse with each start?<<<<<<<<

It isn’t reversible in that way, the blade can be inserted on the spindle two ways. https://www.cuisinart.com/share/pdf/manuals/csb-77.pdf

@patsmom - I use a firm bread (Orowheat sandwich or whatever is in-house), could be stale or not, and tear into quarters first. Pulse it a several times or until it’s all crumbs.
