Doable Summer Classes?

I’m planning on taking German R5B (or any R&C B) and Pol Sci 3 during this Summer. I was wondering if it would be too much and many many units do most people take during the summer?

Two classes is pretty standard; you will be fine :)

I don’t know what sort of language class that is, but I’d be cautious about taking math or language classes during summer if they’re not your strengths. PS3 is very math oriented.

Most Poli Sci majors aren’t math-oriented, but a lot of them take PS3 over the summer. Gailmard is a really good prof. German will be a lot of busywork, but learning the language isn’t that hard. (I’ve studied German and taken PS3). It will be lots of homework because everything’s so condensed, but you’ll be fine.

German R5B is a reading and composition B course using German subjects as the subject matter. Examples from the current semester:

Most of the offerings listed (as of now, perhaps not later) use German literary subjects as the subject matter, but one of them uses German political history as the subject matter.
