Documentation for Schedule Change

Hey guys, I was wondering: when we make changes to our schedule for spring quarter should we provide the UCs with documentation?
For Berkeley we have to mail a letter explaining any changes we make. Should/can we put a copy of our unofficial transcripts in this letter?
I’m thinking that it can’t hurt, but what do I know…

Any opinions?

I’m pretty sure Berkeley has been clear that they want you to make any schedule changes through the UC application site.

no, they definitely want you to mail or fax them because the update is closed. it’s all on their site. nothing you include can hurt you, so if you have them I would go for it.

The thing is, the transcript includes my winter quarter grades (they were pretty good)… Would it not be considered unfair towards the other applicants if the UCs get to see my winter quarter grades?

I think if you write in the letter, “I included my transcripts as documentation, please disregard if not necessary” they won’t see it as you trying to get ahead?

stop overthinking it =]

That sounds good!

either way decision come in 24 days.

I hate to be a negative Nancy but I believe you may be a little late to turn in a schedule change.

@talebi818: Ummm, my spring quarter just started two days ago. I couldn’t have possibly known whether or not I’d get into a specific class before then…

oh, I thought you were transferring from a community college. I guess you’re in the clear then.

I’m transferring from a cc on the quarter system (rare, but they do exist). I hope I’m not at a disadvantage because of this…

dude, youre not. I just faxed them my schedule change YESTERDAY cuz i finally got off the waitlist for one of my classes. just do it asap, and you will be fine.
