I heard from a few Columbia friends that it SUX b/c it’s so hard to get on the machines, etc. You have to wait a lot and whatnot. I visited the fitness center… It’s GORGEOUS. I loved it…

i think it all depends on when u go…i mean there are of course times when it will just be PACKED but i bet if u went at like 11 or something it’d be pretty empty

Crowded and too small but pretty nice. Other colleges have nicer ones, but Columbia’s is decent.

As a student, you’re automatically entitled to go to Dodge.

The pool is only open for “open swimming” for a couple hours a day, which is a total pain in the butt. Most of the time it is being used for the competitive teams, courses, etc. When it is open, it is crowded as heck. You’ll have to do laps with 3-4 people in a lane. No fun.

My son works out every day and also plays squash. I think he goes late at night. Bad news is that they will be closing Dodge for part of next year due to construction.

I’m not sure if Columbia itself owns any rinks but their is Trump-owned rink (Lasker rink) around 110th and Lenox avenue (a few blocks east of the columbia campus).
