<p>DH and I are in the market for a new vehicle, preferably with all-wheel drive. S1 is a rising college senior and S2 a rising HS senior, so our kid-hauling days are winding down. I really like the size and body style of the Dodge Journey and it’s within our price range, but we’ve had bad luck with Dodges before. The transmission on our '95 Caravan went out at at 64K miles and we replaced the transmission in our '00 Grand Caravan twice (although, in fairness, we live in West Virginia and the terrain here is hard on transmissions.) Does anyone here have a Dodge Journey? If so, what has your experience with it been like? Would you recommend it?</p>
