Does a live online group chat increase my chances of admittance?

<p>I’ll be in a live online group chat with Quinnipiac in about 45 minutes, and I’ll be chatting Hofstra and Bentley on Thursday. Will this give me a little nudge in the college application process?</p>

<p>I highly doubt it. If it’s a purely informational chat, then it’s equivalent to you talking to an admissions officer at a college fair.</p>

<p>Some schools track interest because they don’t want to accept a bunch of people who won’t show up. With those schools it can matter.</p>
