You’d be foolish not to send those SATII scores.

Do you play waterpolo? Do you have a passion for anything that will stand out for Stanford…Stanford is all about passion. Passion and a waterpolo team that has been consistently outstanding for many years.

Among other things of course.

even if your school doesn’t rank (mine didn’t) they still ask it to rank you to the nearest decile I believe.

Will definitely send the SAT IIs. Will be in top decile for sure, but school won’t give number, even to me. My main ecs are football (but I’m not big enough to play at Stanford so I’m not even trying) music (sing in a couple of ec choirs, play 3 instruments, leads in school musical, etc.), and I’m also on the math, computer science and science teams. I think I’m unique because I’m the only “dumb jock” football player on the academic teams and in theater, etc. But I’m not sure if that’s a good essay topic (showing varied interests rather than one true passion.) I’m also done some awesome traveling - last summer went to Fiji, New Zealand and Tahiti which including teaching English to children in Fiji - but don’t want to come across as a privileged rich white kid. Any comments or suggestions?

Maybe you want to play rugby at Stanford?

Why is it that wherever I go, the three SAT IIs I always see together are Math 2, Physics and Chem? (Edit: So this leaves me to wonder, does this mean that people who take these 3 are at a disadvantage because so many people seem to take these specifically?)

Anyway, you have a really good shot. 3 800’s coupled with the rest of your app is really impressive.

Don’t worry about your foreign language situation. I had a similar situation–skipped second-year Spanish and thus only had two foreign language classes–and they didn’t have a problem.
