Does Academic All-American mean anything in terms of college admissions?

To be an Academic All-American,
you need to have a 2100 SAT or a 30 ACT, be a second semester junior or older, have "character, and you need to have 750 NFL points (national forensic league)

does it make an impact?

btw, about only 7 people in AZ become academic all americans each year

Out of curiosity, what event do you do?

The term “Academic All-American” is used by most sports as well, to single out players with good GPA’s. I doubt it means much, but if you put it on your application, you may need to explain exactly what team/event you won it for.
