Does an online foreign language course satisfy Cal's foreign language requirement?

I did 2.5 years of a foreign language at my high school and got As in all courses. For spring semester, I used Middlebury Online. I realize that Cal requires 3 years of foreign language from high school to skip the language requirement, so would my online class satisfy the requirement? I can’t seem to find a definitive answer. According to
“UC Approved A-G Class List”, my Middlebury class seems to be UC approved, but the Middlebury site says:
“Are Middlebury Interactive courses credit-bearing?
No, however, students can and should discuss with their school counselor/mentor the options of receiving placement consideration and or/credit from their school if they successfully complete the courses.”
For clarification, I’m fairly certain my online class would be sent on separate transcript from my high school transcript.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

https://hs-articulation.ucop.edu/agcourselist#/list/details/4514/ lists Middlebury Online courses and how they are seen in terms of a-g requirements. Is it listed at “LOTE Level 3” or higher?

Yes, it is listed as LOTE level 3. I read that link, which makes me confused why Middlebury Online’s site says its courses aren’t credit bearing. Do you think that means it satisfies Berkeley’s 3-year requirement? @ucbalumnus

If it counts as a level 3 high school foreign language course, it should for those purposes that look for a level 3 high school foreign language course. But you can always ask the school if you want to be sure.
