<p>First day of it today. Usually every June and after Christmas. Can’t beat hand soap for $1.75 and pretty body spray spritzer for $3. Also always pick up their room freshners sprays which we have placed in each bathroom.</p>
<p>Was short on time, but I can do a good amount of damage to 75% off in 10 minutes! :)</p>
<p>You are welcome!!! This is the first time I was there on first day - lots of people, lots of stuff. I think they must add stuff as they go along cause seems everyone was walking about with a big bag full.</p>
<p>Thanks for the reminder, something fun for D to do today, she loves the hand sanitizer that foams…uses a LOT of the stuff when we travel. She’s off to Congressional Academy in a couple of weeks, we will be stocking up!</p>
<p>My D used to work at BBW. I had never shopped there before she got hired, I figured their stuff was overpriced. But she showed me that stocking up at the semi-annual sale could mean buying their nice soaps and stuff for the same price or less than grocery store brands. Now I am addicted to anything they make in their Sea Island Cotton scent. I can’t wear perfume (triggers migraines) but their Sea Island Cotton moisturizer has just enough scent to smell good without triggering my headaches. </p>
<p>Even away from the semi-annual sale, they often have a buy-3-get-3-free or buy-3-get-2-free type sales. I buy $80 of moisturizer and hand soap, and don’t have to go back to the store for 5 months!</p>
<p>Here is a tip: if you don’t see something you want stocked at the store, look online. Their website has much more than can be found at the retail stores. Shipping is not free, but if you bought stuff at the store, look for a free shipping code on the little card included in your bag. Unfortunately, it is a one-time code, and I’m planning on using mine.</p>
The nearest Bath and Body Works store is 40 minutes away. The one closer closed…probably because their lease cost went up. I absolutely would have purchased a lot at the former local store. We love their hand soap for the kitchen…and one or two of their milder scented lotions.
Shipping to HI makes the cost unreasonable and better to go to the store. It’s like that for a LOT of items at many stores that ship–if they will even ship to HI.
I’m sorry your shipping adds up! I just ordered a bunch of things from REI -notice that they offered free shipping to the local store. Is that ever an option?
Thanks to this thread I have 15 bottles of foaming hand soap headed this way for under 2.75 per bottle including free shipping. We use it in the shower as well as at all sinks, plus I take it to school to use at the sink in the back room (not where the students wash up!)
Wheeeeee!
